Elegance - For A Lady

The current challenge over on Try It On Tuesday is For a Lady.  I thought this project fitted the theme.

Die cut 4 toppers from Clarity stencil card using the 3” nested square die and one topper using the 3.5” nested circle die. Cut mats for each topper using the 3.25” nested square picot die and the 3.75” nested circle picot die.

Stamp the lady with the hat from the Barbara’s Elegant Ladies Elegance set in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink onto the circle topper.

Stamp the Catwalk Fashion Statements background stamp onto each of the square toppers in Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides respectively.

Mat up the square toppers and add them to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.

Add touches of additional colour to the backgrounds using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#223, #108, #113, #226).

Colour the lady in shades of blue and violet using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#138, #136, #160, #152, #110, #157, #132, #283, #177).

Add ‘Elegance’ to the topper in the same ink as before and mat it up.

To finish, add the circle topper to the front of the card.
