WOYWW 819/39: Home Stretch

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday), the brainchild of Julia, who was kindly entrusted it to me to continue after 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

As promised, my desk this week shows the projects I completed on Saturday at Tilly tea Dance's workshop.  I was really pleased with the finish piece.  It was great to catch up with Jo, Max and a school friend of mine who came to the workshop too.  I have three more workshops booked for 2025 and am really looking forward to them.

The internet is still dodgy in the shed!
Had to come up with a different view after 'self care' last month.

Some challenging prompts this week - especially the last one.

Yesterday was a musical day as I had my recorder group in the afternoon and then a taster session with the new Magical Voices choir that has just started in Stoke on Trent.  Songs from the musicals including Les Mis.  Great fun, but I won't be joining up until I no longer have to get up early for work on Wednesdays.

It is half term next week at least!

Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Toadstool woodland scene and the box frame is perfect for it, and 3 more workshops booked, I'm going green here...Love the daily pages, nice to know your favourite show, has been mine but not sure about the latest episodes. Curious as to the item bottom right on "failed", I guess I failed there LOL Hugs BJ#3

I'm glad you enjoyed your felting day - the finished piece is lovely. It's so good to have a framed piece to take home. Well done with your little paintings- the theme is tricky sometimes! x x Jo 🌈

Wow!!!! Your felted needlework is superb, that's a very neat piece of art you've created, I can see why you've booked to do more classes. Love your drawings especially the cute expression on the monochrome robot. And you've outed yourself as a Whovian lol with your fave TV show :D Who's the best one though lol? xxxx

Love your toadstool scene, and your daily drawings, not quite sure I understand reverse musical chairs, perhaps I am a bit dense this morning. Happy WOYWW, Angela #13

Lovely piece, Sarah!
Yeah, reverse musical chairs would be tough. Love your drawings, though. You always amaze me.
The cat wakes me up early and while I don't mind much, I prefer daylight when I do. We have a few weeks to go yet.
