A Get Well Card

I made this card to send to a friend who is in hospital along with many more, organised by Barbara Gray at Clarity Crafts.

Stamp the Hope You Feel Better Soon Sentiment from the A7 Get Well KISS stamp set onto a small piece of Clarity stencil card in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder. Then add the Petite Leafy Swirl stencil over the top and blend French Ultramarine Archival ink through the apertures. Remove the stencil.

Next add the Flowers from the A6 Happy Birthday KISS stamp set in the same way as the sentiment.

Colour the flowers with Faber-Castell water colour pencils picked up off a mix mat with a watercolour brush pen (#134, #136, #167).

Choose similar flowers and foliage from the Spring Build a Wreath stamp set and mount them onto Clarity stamp pens.

Add the flowers into the corner in Cactus Flower, Majestic Violet and Violet Archival inks.

Add the foliage in Crushed Olive and Rustic Wilderness Distress Archival inks.

Go round the topper with a black Sharpie pen.

Add the 12cm square embedder to the front of a 6” x 6” card blank. Go round it from the back with a #2 Groovi tool to embed the front.

To finish, add the topper to the front of the card.
