Love Birds With Love

I love these Clarity New Design Club stamps but I think I spoilt the card with the way I coloured the birds at the end!

Mask off round the edges of a 5” x 5” white card blank with low tack tape.

Stamp Clarity New Design Club stamp #84 (Love Birds) onto the card in Vibrant Fuchsia Archival ink (mixed with the indexing it created a purple shade).

Create a mask for the image and mask it off.

Add the fern leaf (early NDC) in English Ivy Archival ink.

Repeat in Fern Archival ink.

Continue adding the same leaf in Prickly Pear, Leaf Green, Vivid Chartreuse and Sea Grass archival inks.

Add further touches around the edges in the first two green inks.

Remove all the masking.

Add With Love, using the Entwined Sentiments stamps, in Jet Black Archival ink.

To finish, colour the birds in bright colours using Kuretake Clean Colour Brush pens. I should have left off the colouring I think!
