As always, I end the month with my calendar page for the following one. Here I used the Winds of Change stamps from Clarity Crafts, along with their excellent masks.
Trim a large piece of Clarity stencil card to 21cm x 16cm. Mask down each side with low tack tape. Add the Clouds mask at the top and brush Stormy Sky Distress ink upwards off the mask.
Move the mask down and along and add further ink in the same manner.
Add the Mountains & Hills mask and brush a final layer of the same ink upwards.
Add Weathered Wood Distress ink below the mask.
Move the mask down the topper and brush Iced Spruce downwards – finish with a spot on sponge, dragging the ink off the mask.
Add the tree from the large Winds of Change stamp set in Morning Mist Versafine Clair ink.
Add one of the Wee Grasses multiple times around the base of the tree in English Ivy Archival ink.
Add the umbrella man from the Winds of Change stamp set in Jet Black Archival ink.
Add the sentiment in the same ink.
‘Ground’ the man using an Earth Green watercolour pencil blended out with a watercolour brush pen. Then, to finish, edge the top and bottom of the topper with a black Sharpie pen and add it to the March page of the Funky Fossil calendar blank.
