The mid month mini make challenge over on Clarity Crafts Mini Makes & ATCs is to create a piece no more than 5" x 5" featuring Feathered Friends and using scraps of paper. It should also include a touch of blue, as that is the colour theme for this month. This is what I came up with.
Stamp the pair of geese from the Bijou Feathered Friends stamp set onto a scrap of Indian Summer designer card in Jet Black Archival ink.
Fussy cut the bodies.
Stamp the geese for a second time, onto a small piece of Clarity stencil card, in the same ink.
Add the fussy cut bodies.
Colour the rest of the image with Faber-Castell Polychromos (#183, #271, #272, #270, #156, #274).
Add the smallest moon mask.
Having masked up the geese, add one of the masks from the Hills and Clouds (Build a Scene set) and brush Stormy Sky Distress ink above it. Move the mask down and continue adding ink. Remove all masking.
Mask around the moon and add yellow ink off a stencil brush. Remove the masking.
Tear a couple of strips of scrap designer and companion paper, add them to the bottom of the topper and trim the excess.
Die cut a mat from black card using the 3.75" x 3.75" nested square picot die and mat up the topper.
Add the topper to the front of a 5" x 5" white card blank.
To finish, add one of the Pinky Gray Greetings stickers.
