Beautiful Imperfections: Poppy Seed Heads

This time I used masking and the corresponding stencil to create a card with the Poppy Seed Heads design from Clarity Crafts.

Stamp the Poppy Seed Head outline stamp from the Botanicals two way stamp set onto Clarity stencil card in Jet Black Archival ink.

Add the infill stamp in Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide.

Create a mask for the image using mask blank and mask up the image.

Add the outline stamp either side of the masked image in the same ink as before.

Add the infill stamp in Rusty Hinge and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides. Create and add further masks.

Lay the Poppy Seed Heads stencil over the top and lightly blend Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade Distress inks outwards from the masking.

Mat up the topper using one of the Darjeeling Infusions Collage papers and trim leaving a narrow border.

Add to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.

To finish, add one of Leonie’s words stickers.
