Pine Tree Bauble Card

I created this card by combining one of the new Bijou 2-way overlay bauble stamp sets with a Clarity stencil.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 5” nested squares die and a mat from black card using the corresponding nested squares picot die.

Stamp the bijou Merry Christmas bauble outer stamp onto the topper in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Add the inner stamp in Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet Oxides. Mask up the bauble.

Add Forest Moss Distress Oxide through the Pine Needle stencil to the left-hand side.

Clean and dry the stencil, reverse it, and add Peeled Paint Oxide down the right-hand side.

Remove the mask, clean, and replace it. Gently brush Shabby Shutters Distress ink over the whole background using a Clarity stencil brush.

Remove the mask. Stamp a hanger from the top of the bauble to the top of the topper using the dot stamp in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink. Add shading round the bauble using a 6B sketching pencil blended out with a Pergamano blending pen and nib.

Add Season's Greetings (mini word chains 13 & 14) in the same black ink as before in the lower right corner.

Mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank.

To finish the inside of the card, add Noel in the same ink.
