Wildflower Reflections

I love these new Bijou landscape stamps from Clarity.  Here I used stamps from two different sets to create a landscape on a marbelled background.

Create a shaving foam background on Clarity stencil card (Add shaving foam to a tray and add drops of Salvaged Patina and Uncharted Mariner Distress re-inkers onto the foam. Drag the colour across the foam and place the card face down onto it. Remove the card and scrape off the foam).  Trim the card to 11.5cm x 11.5cm.

Add the grass from the Wildflower stamp set onto the background in Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

Create a reflection by stamping onto a small gel plate in the same manner using Shadow Grey Archival ink then add ing the image off the gel plate onto the topper.

Add the sentiment from the Grunge Trees stamp set onto the topper in the same black ink as before.

Add one of the triple wildflower stamps in black.

Repeat the gel plate process to add a reflection of the flowers but add a mask using low tack tape along the grass to shorten the stems of the reflection.

Add a moon mask in front of the sentiment. Blend Yellow Ochre Archival ink around the mask using a Spot On Sponge.  Create a reflection in the same manner.

Continue the ground along the topper using a black Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer watercolour pencil and blend out with a watercolour brush pen.

Add a black line round the topper with a Sharpie pen.

Mat onto a piece of the Rainbow River companion paper and trim leaving a narrow border.

To finish, add to the front of a 6" x 6" white card blank.
