WOYWW 602: Holidays Approach

Welcome to the weekly Wednesday link up with Julia at Stamping Ground and the gals and guys at WOYWW.
A huge thank you to (from top left clockwise) Jan (LLJ), Jane, Shaz (silverwolf) and Margaret (Glitter and Glue) for the lovely hand made cards that I have received.  This is where I confess that I have made very few Christmas cards this year, apart from samples, and haven't posted any yet.  Sorry folks but the holidays seem to have snuck up on me while I wasn't paying attention.
My desk is all ready this morning to complete my latest daily December drawing.  The prompt is Reindeer so I may be a while lol. Here are the previous 7.

Off to work shortly for the last Wednesday of 2020 and really looking forward to two weeks off.  I'll be round to visit in the morning.  Stay safe and happy WOYWW.

Morning Sarah.Love your daily drawings. They are great! Hope your two weeks away from school are just lovely - restful and filled with fun and joy. This term has been full of uncertainty - new techniques - so much to get your head around - in and out of the classroom. I am SO glad I no longer am in that environment...
Take care. God bless.

Hi Sarah, I used to feel like this when I was teaching. You're so busy concentrating on the job and Christmas seems miles away and then suddenly it's there. The term up to Christmas is long and it's been even more of a slog this year so I can understand how you feel. Have a lovely WOYWW and stay safe, Angela x12x

Lovely cards you have received Sarah, look forward to seeing the samples you made when all is revealed by Clarity.
More great drawings, I would have found magic difficult but you nailed it.

Your drawings are fab, I do enjoy seeing them and it has made me think that I should have a go at a similar challenge next year. You’re right about Christmas sneaking up, I don’t feel festive at all, maybe it’s the lack of carol playing!

I know what you mean about the holidays sneaking up on us! When did that happen? I made a mad dash to the shops on Monday and Tuesday just so we've got something to put under the tree! Glad you found enough time though for doing your sketches and I'm looking forward to the school holidays as well! Enjoy a well earned rest! zsuzsa #27

Hi Sarah, very little done here in the way of present buying, I agree it seems to have got here fast, plus it just doesn't feel Christmassy at all this year. Love all the drawings you've been doing!Stay safe, have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #6 X

Sarah, such beautiful cards you received! Those are some crafty gals! :) It would probably take me a long minute to do a reindeer prompt as well! As it is, I really like your other drawings! The sledding is super cute! Many blessings to you and the Merriest of Christmas's! Felicia, #31

Terrific sketches ~ great shopping bags! I bet a reindeer would be challenging to draw. Lot's of pretty handmade cards from your creative friends too ~ Enjoy the season!

Loving your daily drawings. Not surprised after the term you have had, that you haven't managed to make many cards. I hope you can rest and relax over the holidays. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#13)

Well, it’ll all happen with or without cards! a shame you can’t have all your samples back to use! Seems to have been a hugely long term, I hope your last Wednesday has gone well. Loving your dedication to the Drawcember....I think Rudolph as a prompt might have broken me!!

I really love your sketchbook-I must try it sometime but have left it rather late for this year. Enjoy your break when it comes.

Hi Sarah, I think Christmas has snuck up on us all this year. Covid rules and tiers changing so often, it's been difficult to get organised. I am only sending cards to immediate family this year, and visiting one daughter (our other daughter will meet us there). Oooh I could have joined in for one day on the Drawcember - snow fort! Lol. Have a lovely week, Heather xx #30

Thanks for your visit, Sarah, and I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the kitty crochet stuff. I'm looking forward to making up some of the paw prints which are really fun. Your granola sounds interesting. I'm still ploughing through the double quantity of somewhat burnt granola I made last time lol! It's extremely crunchy and not that tasty but I didn't want to throw away all that goodness because it's rather dark coloured! Julia said on the Zoom that it looked like mulch. Flax seeds are best ground, if you can be bothered to do it - nutritionally, much more goodness is made available to the body that way. We have a tablespoon of ground flax seeds every day - great for reducing cholesterol.

Thanks for your commiserations over my repeat prescription nonsense too. It's all pretty frustrating. By contrast, I phoned my stoma products supplier only a few days ago and the parcel arrived today - quickest ever, I think, and in the run-up to Christmas too! They send my request to the GP and get an electronic prescription. I've never had any problems with that system - it's just lately, with my pills.

Thanks for the visit. I don't know where the time goes but I must work slower or something. I like your drawings, would be relaxing time I think.
I am keeping my winter crafty stuff out and will work on projects for next year. Seems I will be having HOME time extended. Our area is a mess with Covid, so being safe. Have a good weekend.

Hi Sarah! Thanks for your visit to mine! Lovely drawings, I have a hard time drawing "out of my head", I usually need to copy something, either real life or a photo. So you are now on your Holidays! Enjoy! Every day is holiday for me, I don't miss working one bit! Have a lovely week! Lindart #33
