Bye Bye 2020: A Sympathy Card

 This seemed an appropriate card to finish 2020 with as it has been such a horrendous year for so many.  2021 appears more hopeful...  I was inspired to use a Clarity Club die and stamp from 2020 by Deborah Wheeler's series of cards.

Cut a 4.5” square from black card. Use NDDC #20 Hemlock Aperture Die to cut an aperture from the centre.

Working directly onto the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank, use NDC #159 background stamp to add interest in Morning Mist Versafine Clair ink to the centre.

Add the die cut to the front of the card leaving a larger gap at the bottom.

Using the Deepest Sympathy stamp from the Entwined sentiments, mask off sympathy and add Deepest to the bottom of the die cut frame in Versamark ink. Heat emboss with white embossing powder.

To finish, mask off Deepest and add Sympathy below the die cut panel in Onyx Black Versafine ink.
