Barbara's About Town Village with Poetry Background

I decided to use one of the poetry verse stamps in a different way, as a background for the About Town image.

Cut a 5” x 5” kraft card blank in half. Stamp Barbara’s About Town village onto one half in Versamark ink. Heat emboss with white powder.

Die cut the image using the 4” nested square die and a mat from Clarity stencil card using the 4.25” nested square picot die.

Stamping directly onto the front of a 6” x 6” kraft card blank, add the Irish Blessing from Poetry set 2 around the edges in Versamark ink. Heat emboss as before.

Mat up the topper and add to the front of the card.

Add some pastel coloured highlights to the village using Faber-Castell Polychromos.

To finish, add one of the Christmas & Celebrations word stickers.
