Messy Layered Background: The Finished Card

I used the messy layered background to create a men's card; suitable for a birthday.

As you can see, having spent time layering up the background, I decided to keep the focal elements simple.  I die cut the Tools Frame from Amy Designs and Find IT from white card and laid it over the background.  I then stamped the 'No matter how you spend your day' sentiment by Claritystamp, using Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white detail embossing powder.
Before I did any stamping, I went over the background with an anti-static pad.  Once the stamping was complete and the frame glued into place, I trimmed down the background to fit a 17cm x 17cm white card blank.

Rather than use an insert on the inside of the card, I decided to stamp a verse and add a 'messy border' to match the theme of the card.  The verse is another by Claritystamp and the border is the long ink splat from the Rugged Edge set designed by Limor Webber for Indigoblu.  I used Coffee Archival ink.
