Patchwork Background

This card was made for my son's birthday several years ago; I recently came across it when going through a box of old cards.  The laptop definitely fits the bill, but the can is a Diet Coke as he doesn't drink.

The stamped image is by Jolly Nation, coloured using ProMarkers, cut out using a Fiskars circle cutter and matted onto a slightly larger brown circle.
The base card is made from an A4 sheet of cream hammered  card, folded in half to create an A5 landscape card blank.  Nine pieces of coordinating papers from the Abstract Prints set by Dovecraft were cut to 3.5cm x 5.5cm and stuck onto the front of the card at equal distances.  A running stitch was then drawn around each of the pieces.
The large W was cut on the Cricut machine from the Storybook cartridge set at 3.5 inches and 'ishes' stamped along one edge using individual letter stamps and black Versafine ink.  The same stamp set was used to stamp 'Best' in the top left patch.
