Turning Stamps into Large Flowers

This is the second of the art journal pages that I made with the new Circus stamp sets, designed by Leonie Pujol for Claritystamp.  It was featured on Barbara Gray's blog yesterday so I though I'd share the step by step today.
1 Trim large piece of stencil card to 8.5” x 8.5”. Ink up the Leonie’s Bursts frameless stencil with Onyx black Versafine ink, lay face down on card in bottom left corner and run through embossing machine to transfer the ink. Continue the pattern until the bottom of the card is covered. Touch up any lines as needed with a black micron pen.

2 Stamp the large stamp from the ‘Art’ set onto black paper three times in Moonlight White Brilliance ink. Trim each shape close in a circle then cut petals following the shape of the stamped images. Glue these onto the page and add a brad to the centre of each ‘flower’. Trim any excess. Add the trimmed off pieces at the top and the bottom of the page.

3 Cut the sentiment into two and stamp it at the top of the page in Black Soot Archival ink.
4 To finish, add dots into the centres of the stencilled circles using a micron pen to match the patterns on the brads.
