Happy Birthday Mum

I made a master board to make a special box for my mum's birthday today and used an off cut to create a matching birthday card.
I started by blending Antique Linen and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides on my mat, spritzing the ink with water and dragged through two pieces of stamping card.
Next,  I added Scattered Straw Oxide with a natural sponge for texture.
For the next step I blended Antique Linen Oxide through the dotty Wave Petite stencil.
Next,  I stamped one of the journaling stamps (All stamps and stencils from Claritystamp) in Wild Honey Oxide,  holding the stamp in my hand.
Followed up by another of the journaling stamps in Rusty Hinge.
Next I blended Spiced Marmalade through the Haystack stencil.
Followed by Brushed Corduroy through the middle of the Shell stencil.
For the next layer, I stamped the smallest stamp from the Alliums set in Rusty Hinge.
Followed by the solid daisy stamp (NDC #101) in Abandoned Coral.
To finish,  I added the Agapanthus stamp (NDC #99) in Fossilized Amber.
For the card, I cut a piece of the master board to measure 13.4cm x 13.4cm.
I used the Garden Heart stamp and a stamp platform, stamping in Onyx Black Versafine ink.
I then added Mum using the Word Chain Alphabet,  Happy from Mini Word Chains 13 & 14 and birthday from Mini Word Chains 3 & 4 in the same ink.
This was matted onto black card and added to a 14.5cm x 14.5cm card blank.
To see the accompanying gift, pop back tomorrow.  Happy birthday Mum!
