Feathered Friends Scene within an Aperture Die

I created a small aperture in one of the Mixed Media dies to stamp a waterside scene using some of the new Feathered Friends Miniatures stamps.  I think it works rather well and hope you do too.

Hugs & Kisses: A Romantic Card

The different backdrop stamps are so versatile and work especially well with Distress Oxides if you want to lift some ink before stamping them.  Here I used one of the heart backdrop stamps to create a romantic card.

WOYWW 622: Two Weeks To Go

Only two more weeks until the 12th anniversary of WOYWW, the weekly blog hop hosted by Julia at Stamping Ground.  Plenty of craft spaces and desks to visit and friends to be made - please visit to find out more.

I have started sorting a few tags out of my collection but will probably save them for swapping until our next in person get together.  I am planning on making an anniversary tag for whoever my PIF turns out to be on the day and have still to source a local postcard.  As you can see, I have started a new sketchbook for my daily drawing session.

My second jab went off well on Sunday.  Very little soreness and not as tired as I was the first time around.  Stay safe everyone and Happy WOYWW.  I'll be round to visit in the morning if I don't make it after work this evening.

Make Art Not War!

I love playing around with these new grunge stamps from Claritystamp.  I combined the art set with my favourite kraft/white combination and threw in some black as well for a change.

It's A Boy: New Baby Card

The arrival on the scene of the new Feathered Friends Miniatures stamp set from Claritystamp opens up all sorts of possibilities.  Here, I used the individual owl with the original larger sized owl trio to create a new baby card.

Daily Drawing Latest Round Up: April Part 2

I have filled my first sketchbook of daily drawings for this year.  I work in a Daler Rowney sketchbook 148mm x 130mm/5.8" x 5.1" with 150gsm/101lb cartridge paperand a fine black Posca pen.  Here are the drawings which take me to 25% of 2021 completed.

A straight forward response to an easy prompt.
Another easy prompt for ideas.
A challenge indeed - to come up with an idea and execute it.  I actually did a parachute jump when I was at university, but my parachute was round.
I am still avoiding having to draw people.
A new Posca pen started for this one.
Another easy prompt to draw.
I admit to using a picture online as guidance for this one (see HERE).
Another easy prompt - especially as I wear glasses.
I went with a cartoon like response.
I was brave enough to draw people, but only a rear view.
I usually take a lunchbox to work.
A bit of a challenge, but I had a lightbulb moment lol.
An easy choice to draw.
A bit of a cop out - it is such a broad topic.
Indeed random pieces to put together and also connected with the games themselves.
