Plain on the Outside - Hidden Colour Inside

For my final sample using the Summer Sampler A4 stamp set from Clarity Crafts, I worked on the inside of the card first then kept the front simple.

Mask off 1.5cm around all four sides of the inside of a 6” x 6” white card blank.

Add three of the small Summer Frame images into the corners of the remaining space in Jet Black Archival ink.

Add one of the Statement Sentiments into the fourth corner in the same ink.

Using the Square Aperture Mat A4 stencil add a square around the sentiment using a micron pen. Remove the low tack tape

Colour the images using Perga Colour pens. For the background, pick up the colour off a mix mat with a watercolour brush pen.  Fold the images into the card.

Add one of the frames onto the opposite side in Jet Black Archival ink.

Add another of the Statement Sentiments, likewise.

To finish, add the same frame and a different Statement Sentiment to the front of the card as before.
