WOYWW 826/46: Assessments Ongoing

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday), the brainchild of Julia, who has kindly entrusted it to me to continue after 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

My desk shows the latest stash arrival from Clarity.  I invested in a couple of the Stamptagious stamp sets (thought Jan would appreciate the hares), as they were launched on Clarity TV last week, along with some Groovi plates and papers.  I made the most of the extra 10% discount code that was in place last month.

I know it's called Uluru rather than Ayers Rock!

Memories of my childhood bedroom, sharing with my twin sister.

A strange prompt - I can't believe that it is April already!

Sorry I didn't get round to visiting until the weekend - I saw snowed under marking Y8 assessments and getting samples made.  It is now the turn of Y7 assessments so it may be the weekend again before I get round to everyone.

We had a lovely meal out on Saturday evening for Mother's Day.  Myself, the boys +1, Mum, brother, brother-in-law and niece and family.  It was great having everyone together at the same time.  Mum loved her gift from Tilly Tea Dance's Etsy shop.

Stay safe and happy WOYWW.

I pressed publish before commenting on your lovely watercolours. Was 1 April really Apocalyptic Bard or am I reading it wrong? I do like your drowning lute!

You’re right, I do love that hare! Not all hare designs are good but that one feels right 😊. I’m so glad you had a lovely meal with the family on Sunday and I bet you won’t miss assessments when you’re retired!

Fab goodies. I do like the look of those words - my printer just does not give me black enough ink most times! Cute hares indeed, LLJ will be impressed!
No knitting today, Poppy is not very well

Sounds like you had a fabulous time out for Mother's Day surrounded by lots of family. I don't envy all the assessments work you had to do - hope it's eased up now for you. Brilliant drawings and as you say - weird prompt for 1 April but you nailed it lol xxxxx

Nice lot of goodies there and with a discount too. Super drawings, wish I could get back on my trampoline but seem to jar my back when I do which is a shame. The rock is made of rock despite it's name, lovely lizard. Yes the last one was indeed an unusual prompt. Been studying Revelation in the Bible and have learnt recently the Biblical meaning for apocalypse is to reveal or to uncover therefore gaining a divine perspective. It's totally messing with my mind. Hugs BJ#12

Hello Sarah, that's a lovely lot of Clarity goodies. I don't know how Barbara keeps coming up with ever more designs after all the years she's been doing it. I'm sure you're going to have fun making cards with these new ones. As usual, I love all your interpretations of the drawing challenges. No particular favourites this week - they are all good. Your Mothers' day sounds like the perfect family get-together. Not unlike the one I had with my family. Good luck with the marking of those assessments. I don't envy you. Have a good week. As I didn't get around everyone last week I thought I would try and be early this - it may just be your Wednesday still but it is already my Thursday morning! Hope your assessments are not too much of a chore. April 1 was an odd prompt! What a lot of lovely new stuff! Happy WOYWW! Susan #15
