WOYWW 777: The Crop is On

Well I made it through the first day back at work - just.  Had a telephone consultation with occupational health yesterday - required for the cover insurance at school.  Was glad for the day off and had a great time at my recorder group in the afternoon.

I have been making cards using the Barbara's Loving Heart stamp set from Clarity Crafts.  I didn't get them posted in time for the craftalong but will send them in with my next lot of samples.  The mojo comes and goes.
I am resolutely completing my #dailycollage2024 pages though.
Thanks for the responses I have had regarding the crop on 18th May.  Eva and I assure you that the crop is definitely on.  However it will make things easier if you all bring your own lunch and we only provide tea and coffee.  There is a convenience store and a fish and chip shop across the road so there are plenty of places to get food on the day.  Of course any cake donated to the cause will I am sure also be well received.  As long as we cover the costs of the hall for the day we will not worry (£10-15) per person who is crafting depending on numbers.  I am so looking forward to seeing you all and I know there will be many more there in spirit too.

Don't forget to join in with Julia and the rest of the WOYWW gang by visiting Stamping Ground to link up or visit other desks.

Oh Sarah, I have been happy to see all your FB collages daily. They are really all unique. OH the crop...I've come to grips with not being able to make the trip....the 4 yrs my son was in the area went by I so much wanted to visit but our air flights and traveling alone just didn't seem "OK"...April went so fast. and I am happy also that you got a day off, Best Wishes to You

Thank you, Sarah for carrying on with the crop despite your recent losses. There’s an oatcake shop on London Road that I’ll be heading for to buy my lunch. For non- locals, oatcakes are similar to crepes, but denser. We have them mostly with savoury fillings like cheese and tomato or bacon.
By he way, Sarah, could you or anyone in your recorder group use a tenor recorder? It was a present years ago. It will need a good clean and Ive lost its brush but it’s a shame for it not to be used.
Love your daily collages.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Hoping I can make it on the 18th. It's not far off is it!
I do hope a fair number of people manage to make it this year.
The first day is always the worse after any break and I am sure you will be fine now you are starting back in a routine.
More great collages.
Hugs, Neet 13 xx

Glad it all went well . . .ish . . .
Now for the bad news . . . I don't think I will be able to make the Crop. I don't drive and Dearest Dee is still having ongoing cancer treatment. Sorry about this circumstances may change . . .
Love my Clarity stamps, haven't had a good play yet but . . .

I do like the heart cards Sarah, fab idea with the initials too, very personal. Glad that your return to school wasn't too bad, expect you were pretty knackered though! Loving your resolution with the collages, a great thing to keep you ticking over!

Love your collages, as always! My favourite this week is Nature and Nurture! Your cards are also lovely, using the heart stamp. I will look forward to seeing everyone having fun at the crop this year, but since I am across the pond, I can't come! Maybe someday...Have a great week, Lindart #17
