WOYWW 774: Getting Ready

Sorry I still haven't got round to visiting desks but I have been busy scanning photos, choosing music and getting ready for Paul's funeral on 15th April.

#2 son took me down to London last week to see the shows I had booked to see with Paul.  It was a bittersweet trip but I know he wouldn't have wanted the tickets to go to waste.  The shows were excellent and my son treated me to lunch at Aqua at The Shard.  It was wet while we were there but the views from the 32nd floor were spectacular.
I cheated with my #dailycollage2024 as I had Thursday and Friday's prepared in advance.
As you can see, for April I am going with a brown/sepia palette.
I will try and get round a few desks this week but it might be a generic comment.  Don't forget to visit/link in with Julia at Stamping Ground.

No matter what your comments are Sarah, you are keeping yourself as busy and normal as possible. So glad you are keeping up with your collages.
So you had lunch at the Shard. How wonderful and I am sure it was a thrill despite the rain and the circumstances. Bet both shows were spectacular.
Just take care of yourself
Hugs, Neet 2 xx

So glad you did the trip and the shows were everything you'd hoped when you originally planned to see them. It's a cliche, but it's true..Paul wouldn't want you to miss out on such things and a high up lunch to boot, what a great finale! There is no need to visit if you don't feel you can, for whatever reasons. More important to me is that when you want our company, you know where we are. Like the new colour palette for April, routine or not, you're doing really well.

Aw sweetie, lovely that you have found the time and energy to do any comments, it is such a difficult time. I was chatting to a lady at dancing Tuesday night and she is in the same position as you and still trying to find her way. One widower I dance with lost his wife 23yrs ago and said the first year can be a struggle. So yes I smiled when I saw your comment, I've been missing you.
So glad you made it to London, despite the bittersweetness and there's no harm in prepping pages ahead either. Some of mine are a bit over the midnight mark for the day but I'm not going to worry about it. Nice to see your colour change to "Craft card", I've been doing a bit of that myself. Hasn't the rain been atrocious lately, had about enough of it now although your shots over London have a certain charm to them. Hang in there sweetie we are all rooting for you and are here when you need us. Hugs as always BJ#13
