A Doodle ATC and Matching Card

The prompt for the Clarity Worldwide ATC swap for May is Doodle.  Here is the ATC and matching card which I made for my partner.

For the ATC, trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 2.5” x 3.5”. Add the Clarity ATC stamp to the back in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Add a page of a German English dictionary and trim the edges.

Add a further piece of dictionary including the word Gekritzel (Doodle). Add a watered-down layer of white gesso.

Stamp over the ATC in Bluebird Archival ink using the Cherry Green Doodleology Heart stamp.

Add further stamping in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink using the smaller doodle heart from the same stamp set.

Add a box round the relevant dictionary definition using a black Posca pen.

Blend Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide around the edges of the ATC.

To finish, add the word Doodle using one of Leonie’s Words stickers and go around it with a black Posca pen.

For the card, die cut the Nested Doodle Frame-Its Frames from black card and set the 3rd largest frame to one side.

Add Broken China and Mermaid Lagoon Oxides to the smaller square backdrop stamp, spritz lightly with water and add it to the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank at an angle.

Add the large heart from the Cherry Green Doodleology set over the top in the same archival ink as the ATC.

Add the smaller doodle heart several times over the top in the same black ink as before.

Blend Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide round the edges of the card.

Add the frame to the card.

To finish, add one of Leonie’s Words stickers.
