WOYWW 726: Lovely Long Weekend

Two weeks to go until the 14th anniversary get together of WOYWW thanks to Julia at Stamping Ground.

My desk shows my finished ATC for the occasion.  I have only managed one with all the gallivanting I have been doing and the sample making, so it will be going to the person following my entry on the link up on the day itself.
As you can see my stamp storage towers have been breeding.  I absolutely cannot fit any more in now.  I had to take the curtain rail down and move the other three across closer to the door to fit the fourth.  Saturday was a trip to IKEA and Sunday was spent rearranging, building, screwing together and extra ways of holding them to the unit behind and the wall for safety.  On Monday I finished sorting school stuff in time for a visit to Mum and Dad's.  It was Dad's birthday yesterday so I wanted a chance to drop off his card and gift.  we spent the afternoon reminiscing over coffee and Dolly Buns which was lovely.
Thanks so my sister for the lovely photo.

As you can see the puns in my #dailydrawing2023 challenge are getting worse.
It will be a particularly busy day at work today with no breaks and I will have to get all the books marked Friday before and after school so I can relax and enjoy the Coronation on Saturday.
Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Well, I’m enjoying the drawn word puns, even if you think they’re getting bad…don’t stop!! Am super impressed at your stamp collection, my word, (of course) they’re organised…with all the sample making you do, do you get a chance to use many of the less current? Such a lovely photo of your parents, I hope they’re both hale and hearty; no Ida what a Dolly Bun is, but sounds like the perfect afternoon to me!

Lovely you got to see your mum and dad. Best afternoons!! That stamp storage is great - but maybe time to call a halt? But it is soooo hard... I think that your 'LATE' sketch was the one that made me laugh the most this week. Have a great week, love n hugs Cindy xx

Oh my your life revolves round marking doesn't it! Lots of people don't appreciate the time teachers have to put in to do this. So glad you got sorted for your Dad's birthday and hope the same for the Coronation on Saturday. Your drawings made me both gasp and smile this week (Late and Unexpected respectively) Think I'll be saying "Mind the Gap" all day now LOL Hugs BJ#15

Lovely photo! I bet the excitement over the Coronation is getting bigger everyday! Not so much here, even though he will be our King as well. Your drawings are great as usual, I like "middle" the best this week! Good luck with your storage, it is a never ending quest for me! Have a great week, Lindart #20

Happy Belated WOYWW. You have definitely squeezed in as much stamp storage as possible! Lovely photo of your parents. I have booked myself the whole weekend off (Saturdays are usually busy for me, as I always take time off on Sundays) to watch the Coronation. Our local community centre is having a volunteer morning on the Saturday, so might go up to that, depending on how I am feeling after a day out to Swansea on Friday. Otherwise we will be watching the tv all day. Ali x #18

Sorry for late visit, time just flies by! Hoping to get back to crafting very soon, had a few deliveries of crafty stuff this week, so as soon as I'm home I'll get started on my ATC's...not long now!! Ayone who wants to swap with me will get one from last time too, as a have a few left over! Have a great week, keep on crafting. Happy WOYWW!? ((Lyn)) #7
