WOYWW 700: What a Milestone

Wow what a milestone today for WOYWW and Julia at Stamping Ground.  I am a relative newcomer having joined in for the first time at week 327 so congratulations to all those who have been on the journey since the start.

My desk yesterday showed one of my die books as I was desperately trying to come up with a 30th birthday card for #1 son (where did the time go?).  His birthday is on Tuesdya next week and as he will be away we need to drop things off before the weekend.  I will try to remember to share the card next week after he has received it.

As you can see the tree tiles were all used to create the last 5 pages of my #dailychallenge2022.  I am back to an autumn theme for a few days now.
We had an INSET day in school on Monday so today is the first proper day back for me since half term.  Not sure what the after school meeting is today so shall have to play visiting after work by ear.  I'll be round in the morning no matter what though.  Stay safe and Happy WOWYW.

I hope the meeting after work isn't too long and you can get to the important task of visiting desks!! I love the daily challenges especially with those trees! Happy 700 Helen #3

Where does the time go indeed, our son will be 24yrs this Christmas, then all the 25th anniversaries will follow before he is 25yrs the following Christmas! Loving the dies, hope you came up with a suitable card, I'll need to think up one for mine but usually it's a HUGE number and a bit of colour. Your journal pages are delightful, trees are so majestic especially without leaves. Happy 700th BJ#5

You're right the time just moves so fast it'e quite scary. I love the dies and have a few from Clarity myself and really like their quirky style. You probably wouldn't believe how many of their stamps I have and used to be a member of the club years ago. I am not good at ideas for men's cards so I like to make up a large Masterboard and then keep cutting it up and using that. My last one was retiform with lots of Stempunk images, it works really well. You're always welcome to see it if you like. Have a lovely creative woyww, Angela x8x

I love the two dies you have on show, hope a flick through the book gave you some inspiration, I’m in the same boat next summer so will look with interest at the card you decide to make for your *cough* baby! Where does the time go indeed…..seems we’ve spent a good few hours of it browsing WOYWW posts, that I can account for!

Oh how I dreaded those late nights because of meetings, and the so and so (Head) had me on all kinds of committees because of my extra posts.
Hope yours does not go on too long (I remember my friend Joan falling asleep in one, I was way across the room and could see her head rolling)
Love those tree pages.
Hugs, Neet 16 x

Our son will be 30 in a couple of months’ time and I can’t believe that either! I mean, you and I are just not old enough to have children that age….*grin*. Love the tree tiles, they’ve come out really well.
Happy 700!

Love your tree tile pages. It was a great idea to cut them into narrow strips. Take care and happy WOYWW. Angela #13

Hi Sarah, I love the triple tree layouts on your journal pages, they’re so beautiful! It’s when you see kids growing up that you see how time has passed.
Take care and happy 700th WOYWW!

I remember saying to my eldest - when you are 60 we will be able to travel around together on our free bus passes - she's nearly there . . . We wont as we never stayed in touch but it is still too much, too much!!
Look forward to seeing the card, love those trees . . are they stamps?
Have a good week even with the meetings!

Hiya Sarah, only just sitting down to go desking - like Julia I'd rather keep the daylight hours for crafting!! Great pages and hope your meeting isn't too onerous. As BJ says, my go to for male birthdays is a big 'Happy Birthday' or number and very little else!! Have a good week, Love n hugs Cindyxx #14

Hi there.
Only 2 days late in visiting!! Everyone seems to think I am a bit mad doing all this visiting - but it is honestly only the second time this year that I have done so much!! Have hardly seen my family and friends all year.
Congrats to your son - take heart... my two are 48 and 46!! Love all those trees. trust the after school meeting wasn't about anything too dire!!!
Take care. God bless.

Happy 700th woyww! I am late with my visit but I managed to squeeze some time to look at desks this morning, and I like what I see! Those trees images are so beautiful! My son turned 30 last summer and that felt really weird... I first read you planned on making 30 cards but then I read again - oh, haha, just one card, but I bet it will be a special one! Have a great day/weekend dear. Love from the Netherlands. Marit #2
