White on Black Stencilled Tag

 The current challenge over on Tag Tuesday is add some stencilling.  I was inspired by one of the examples by Pinky but decided to add a twist after completing a workshop by Maria Moorhouse.

I started by die cutting the largest Clarity Nested Luggage tag from black card.

I added New Design Stencil Club #48 to the tag, and masked off an area.

I then added White Clouds Blending ink through the stencil and dried thoroughly.

This step was repeated.

I then added coloured pencils starting with some white to the stencilled image using Faber-Castell Polychromos.  I built up colour in layers from light to dark (#128, #123, #133, #170, #168, #174, #134, #135, #105, #107, #108).

To finish, I added some of Leonie's words stickers.
