WOYWW 661: Carry On Regardless

Welcome all to the weekly link up with WOYWW courtesy of Julia at Stamping Ground.  I am still preparing my daily journal pages the night before, so this is my desk this morning, ready to go with the latest #dailychallenge2022.

Having successfully completed the first month I have decided to keep each scrapbook to two months rather than three as the pages get quite bulky.  I will need to get another two scrapbooks but have plenty to keep going until the end of August so there is no rush.
I passed on everyone's regards to Eva when she popped in for a craft session last Thursday and she sends her best wishes back.  I have also booked myself onto a further workshop with Tilly Tea Dance on 30th April.  I am looking into the one in November too as I love the pictures that are planned then.

I got all my data uploaded at the weekend in plenty of time before Friday's deadline.  Happy WOYWW - I'll be round to visit later or in the morning.

it's amazing how even a couple of layers of paper or card onto a journal bulk it out! Great to see Eva ready to play at the desk! Have a good week, and well done on booking another Tilly workshop. Helen #5

Morning Sarah. Goodness - that journal really is bulging. Are you sure you will get a full two months in - let alone the planned three? You certainly seem to be enjoying the challenges. Hoe lovely to see Eva - and how special to have her back in your shed. I remember it well! A Tilly Tea Dance workshop - now that sounds great!
Take care. God bless.

I've been enjoying your journal pages Sarah, but I do know how fast they can bulk up - most of mine are held closed with elastic bands in a couple of cases small bungees! How lovely to be taking another workshop with Tilly Tea Dance, it looks like you've definitely caught the needle felting bug!
Hope you have a great week,

The journals are lovely so having another isn’t a problem! Your idea of laying out the stuff is inspired, what a time saver. *Waving at Eva*, she looks very well, I do love her hair colour!

How exciting to be doing another Tilly workshop. I love the things she does and to be able to tap into her knowledge must be great.
Love the journal on your desk and I think it is a good idea to keep it smaller because of the thickness you get.
I am now wondering what pens you use? I can't get on with the Arteza real brush pens and run back to my ever depleting Promarkers all the time.
Hugs, Neet 2 xx

Thanks for your visit Sarah, glad to hear I'm not the only one with extra stuff!!! Eva looks great and always fun to have visitors. And glad to see your sign up for Tilly workshop. I really enjoyed my 1st class on the flowers and will no doubt do more. Being STRICT with myself at not taking up any NEW ideas..my mind is already behind with materials I have to use up. Enjoy a happy WOYWW kind of day.

I am so far behind on my scrapbooking. A tip I read about or heard about was to keep things on a calendar, then scrap from there. Sounds like that is what you are doing. I need to get busy! I haven't been to WOYWW for a while, but I am back. I hope to get to know all of you again. I have missed all of you. Happy Day.

I always think the journals have loads of space when I open them and before you know it it's
full and I've hardly done anything in it. Great to see Eva too. Have a great woyww. Hugs, Angela 16x

Oh I’m a bit green eyed about the Tilly workshop, I expect after your first one that you’ve looking forward even more to the next one and honing your skills! Great to see Eva in her place, more than once in a month is a sure sign that our lives are getting to a ‘normal’ again, great innit! I think you’re right to make the journals a two month thing…they do get fat quickly and then they won’t even stand economically on a shelf and I think that would drive you a bit mad!

It's surprising how much bulk there can be in a scrap page so I'm not a bit surprised your journal pages are much the same. I try to keep mine as flat as possible but it is so tempting to just add one but more. I'd love to go to one of Maxine's workshops. Her work is beautiful. Regards again to Eva. I'll type up the recipe and post it out to you. It's worth passing on. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #21

Love it, and oh wow, I really MUST have a go at this! The journaling, so far, I've just been hunting for a good book to start it all in...and then get 'waylaid' reading the book! Stay Safe and keep On Crafting! Happy Late WOYWW!? ((Lyn)) #23...last!

So loving your scrapbooks, bulky or otherwise. Hope you can get some more in time to finish off the year (says she in February LOL).
As for the composting, we have two large bins and a huge stick pile and loads of garden to sort so have signed up for the council garden waste service. Managed to avoid that for 23yrs but no more the Magnolia tree leaves are horrendous. Ordered photos (140) and they were at a small discount still which was good, they are due next Tuesday so may be on my desk for next week... Thanks for the visit BJ#13

You are doing so well with your daily journaling! I do daily journaling on my laptop, maybe some day my ancestors will find it and write a book - ha! It would be a most boring book!! Hi to Eva, have a great week! Lindart #20
