Gilding Flake Finishing Touches

I used gilding flakes to highlight the flowers on this thank you card using one of the Clarity club dies.

Die cut the Clarity January 2022 Club die (#37) from black card, cut around it using the 3.25” nested squares picot die.

Die cut the Nested Oval Doodle Frame-Its frames from black card and set the second largest frame aside.

Use the second largest nested ovals die to cut a topper from Brighton Rock Designer paper.

Add the frame to the topper.

Add the thank you topper to the oval topper.

Add the topper to the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.

Cut a 1cm strip of the same designer paper as before, mat it onto black card leaving a narrow border. Add it down the right-hand side of the card and trim the ends.

Add one of Leonie’s words stickers to the centre oval from the frame-its frames and add it below the thank you die cut.

To finish, add metal leaf glue to the flowers in the die cut and Variegated Gold Gilding flakes over the top. Burnish the excess.
