WOYWW 587: Back To School

It's been a weird week.  I am actually at home today and in fact having a crafty day with Eva later on the other side of the desk.  Why, you may ask?  After all I usually work on Wednesdays.  I went in yesterday and attended the more crucial of the two INSET days  and therefore have today off to play instead.
My desk shot today is a close up of my growing gallery of artwork created by Tilly Tea Dance.  I have started a small collection but I have no doubt that it will grow.  The blue bowl was a birthday gift last year, a Barbara Gray original piece of pottery.  I cherish all these pieces.  Why am I showing you this today?  To join in with the weekly gathering a Julia's Stamping Ground, where desks and creative spaces are shared each Wednesday.  Feel free to nose around browse yourself.  Stay safe and happy WOYWW.  I shall pop and visit over the next couple of days as I am not back in to school until Friday.

I am just about to leave for work here. been going a little earlier as I am walking (especially so now the buses are prioritising school kids never mind the workers lol) and it takes me about 40 minutes... Loving all your Tilly Tea Dance pieces, she is so talented. Have a good day with Eva Helen #1

That is a lovely display of artwork you are showing us. Love those Tilly pieces which are making me think my sheepsie one needs a companion. The seagull would seem an obvious choice but then I love those sunflowers.
Glad you are getting a craft day with Eva - enjoy (as if you need telling LOL)
Hugs, Neet xx

You'll probably be all upside down with the days all this week! I hope all is ok at your school and you feel confident about going back. It must be tricky but I guess normality has to resume sometime. The little felty artworks are gorgeous and I love the blue of the pottery!

Those are some truly lovely pieces - and the frames really add to their appeal. Enjoy your last day off - it's supposed to be my day off too, but I've got so much to do I'll probably end up working for a couple of hours to make it easier for myself for the rest of the week! Happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting! zsuzsa #18

Beautiful artwork Sarah, and I love your blue bowl. Life just wouldn't be as nice without good pottery, would it? (I've got clay in my blood, too!)
have a good week

Hi, Sarah!

Nothing posting from me again. Still working through the mess and leak in the basement. The insurance adjuster says it might be from ground water. Sounds expensive and out of our expertise.

Take care, stay safe!

Happy Wednesday

No wonder you cherish them what gorgeous art work. Before I forget...the sink! I searched for some time and I can tell you some of them are crazy prices but found this one which has quite a good size sink as some of them are just for hand washing and are very small. Anyway it came from: https://www.clickonstore.net/portable-washing-unit-sinks-mobile-p-592.html
this should get you to the right page but they do have other types. There are some really small ones on Ebay too which are much cheaper but this one has wheels so I can take it outside if I need the space or in my case make too much mess Lol! The water container can keep the water warm too though I'm not worried about that. They are designed for use at outdoor shows and the like. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x10x

Beautiful art pieces, Sarah - I am not surprised you treasure them all. I am sure you will soon slot back into a more normal routine at school, and in the meantime it was nice to be able to have a session with Eva. Thank you for your visit, and for your good wishes re my ring - it's now 5 days and I'm beginning to think it's gone for good. I am so sad about it. I'm glad that the various mistakes on the current tiny carpet are invisible to all but myself lol! I'm too much of a perfectionist, that's my trouble. Lily and Ruby have little biffing sessions most days when they are queueing up to be fed - they are like mad March hares, boxing with each other - with no bad language, and then the occasional major spat mostly with Ruby chasing Lily and the most appalling language coming from Lily! I tell her to put a pound in the swear box!! My hubby always gets worried when it's happening, but I don't worry because it's just sibling rivalry (like kids) and they always make up. They really love each other. They say "meow" back to you!

Happy WOYWW,

Well it only takes a bank holiday to throw me completely, so I hope having the ‘wrong’ day off this week doesn’t cause you too much trouble. YOu’re quite right about the Tilly pictures, quite quite lovely. I really like the shape of the bowl too, likely un-spillable which is a huge plus!
