Here's the first double page spread from the inside of the wedding card that I posted yesterday. Unusually for me, I mostly used die cuts on the inside, with the occasional embossing folder, rather than any stamping. I think that I was nervous of making a mistake on the last side of four each time.
The left hand page uses the Regal Frame by Tonic Studios, but with the with love insert from the Swirl Frame set. The joy of these dies is that all the inserts and outer frames mix and match perfectly. Later in the project, you will see the love bird insert from the Regal Frame set used with a different outer frame. The only card that I used on this double page, was a pearlescent red and the same pearl ivory that forms the main card. The corners were cut from the corner which came with the Spellbinders Lace Hearts set; cut four times and arranged to frame the' with love' plaque.
The right hand page is done in two layers only, as I didn't want to bulk out the card too much. I cut the outermost mat from the Square Vines Base by Tonic Studios from the red pearlescent card; the overlay, from pearl ivory was the outer die from the same set as well as the two fancy verso layers, which were cut to stay in the card, as well as the With Love insert which fits perfectly in the middle. Again, these verso dies are interchangeable with the set that I used on the front of the card (see yesterday's blog).
Tomorrow - Orange!
