We are getting close to the end of the rainbow wedding card. This is my favourite double page spread. For once I used embossing folders as well as die cuts.
I think I like these pages so much because they are clean and simple, reflect the occasion and tie together so well. Although it doesn't show up well in the photos, I used the same indigo/turquoise pearlescent card for both pages as well as the usual ivory pearl. The bells and cross theme mirrored the church setting for the wedding. I didn't bother paper piecing the bells; instead I cut the intricate die twice from ivory pearl, stuck them onto the indigo card and then fussy cut the whole thing out using small scissors. The gold heart brad tied the bells in with the background embossing folder as well as the gold elastic which bound the whole card together.
