WOYWW 900/120: What an Achievement

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

So - 900 weeks of meeting up, new faces, old faces, friends returning after a break, missing those who are no longer with us.

I did a little research.  WOYWW was first mentioned on 3rd June 2009 and the 100th link up was 4th May 2011.  200 - 3rd April 2013, 300 - 4th March 2015, 400 - 1st February 2017, 500 - 2nd January 1019, 600 - 2nd December 2020, 700 - 2nd November 2022 and 800 - 2nd October 2024.  We celebrated the 17th anniversary back in May and may we have many more.

I first joined in for week 325 so my first 00 link up is this one.

My desk for the 900th week shows a beautiful glass panel which was created by Eva and my birthday present.  It will take pride of place when I finally move my crafting space indoors.
She came over yesterday and we spent the afternoon crafting together.

Sending love and hugs to Helen, whose operation was bumped for the second time yesterday and keeping everything crossed that tomorrow will go ahead.

Thanks to Julia, Jan and everyone who has ever taken part in WOYWW.  Here's to the 1000th get together.

lol! Normally I don’t stress about getting on to WOYWW so was pretty surprised to be (seemingly) at the top spot…till I remembered Helen and her wrist! I love the panel and Eva looks quite pleased with herself. And yes, roll on 1000!

Wow, 900! Congratulations to Julia for starting WOYWW, and you for continuing on with the WOYWW legacy! I'm one of the ones that took a break and came back, and so glad I did. There's some wonderful talented people in this group who's work I respect and look forward to seeing every week. Blessings to all!

What an achievement to keep this going so long. Well done Julia, Jan and now Sarah. My post is not how I envisaged it but have created something! Thanks Jan for offering to link but a wakeful night meant I was able to do it myself. Looking forward to catching up with old friends hopefully at some time . Helen #4

900 weeks is an amazing accomplishment for both Julia who started it all off and yourself who has diligently taken on the baton. Looks like you and Eva had a good crafty get together and such a beautiful piece of art she gifted to you. In a heartbeat, it'll be the 1000th lol xx

Happy 900th WOYWW! I've resurrected my blog especially for the occasion! I am sorry I have no longer got the time to join in and don't do any where near as much crafting as I used to. I keep being inspired to try again - hopefully I will get over my crafting block soon! With love & God Bless, Caro xx #19
