WOYWW #400 Congratulations on the Anniversary

Well it's a really special WOYWW today hosted by Julia over on The Stamping Ground.  This must be the longest running weekly blog hop in history and I am delighted to be participating in such a milestone event; not my 400th contribution by any means.  I am sharing some tidying that I have been doing as well as my workbench as per the title.
The start of an art journal page.

As usual the photo of my desk is the start of my Tuesday shared craft play with a friend; this time showing some die cutting as the first stage of an art journal page (see HERE for the finished page).  One of the small jobs that I completed yesterday was to add some hooks to the wall beside where I sit to work.  This means that I am finally able to access all my Tim Holtz stencils; mini and full size, which are all held together using large book rings.  I was fed up with having to get up every time I wanted to use one and these are my 'go to' stencils.
The second organisational job which I completed was to label all my Adirondack ink pads and rearrange my ink storage to accommodate my new ink rack.  I haven't bothered to decorate the rack; it is still plain MDF, but I couldn't wait to be able to store all the ink pads on separate shelves instead of them being piled up in a box.  Now I might actually use them a little more often.  They brighten up the corner, together with my Distress and Artistry inks, even if it means that my 'Relax' mirror sign has been covered.  All my Metallic Gilding Polishes sit in that corner too, so I am overwhelmed with choices when it comes to creating backgrounds.

Finally, I can't leave you without sharing my friend's side of the desk, especially as she was so proud of how neatly she had been working.  The set of party invitations that she has been working on is almost finished!
Happy WOYWW - here's to the next 400!
