Festive ATCs

The theme for this month's ATC swap over on Junk Journals and Mindful Mixed Media Art was Festive/Winter rather than the usual letter prompt.  Once again I had fun with stamps and stencils from Claritystamp.  My partner should have received them by now so I am sharing them here.
I started the first one by blending Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide over my ATC blank (2.5" x 3.5").  I added a light mist of water and then dried it.
I then repeated the process with Dusty Concord, although the photo doesn't really show it up.
I then stamped and heat embossed the Happy New Year stamps from Jayne's postcard frame (Versamark and detail silver EP).
Finally,  I masked off part of the firework stencil (NDSC #42) and added gold embossing paste through the aperture.
For the next ATC I started by stamping NDC stamp #133 (candles) in Versamark ink and heat embossing with detail copper EP.
I used my Royal Talens Ecoline pens and a water brush to add colour.
I added a wash of colour round the outside of the image in the same way.
Finally,  I stamped and heat embossed Noel from Mini Word Chains 13 & 14 in the same way as the focal image.
For the final ATC I decided to create a winter scene.  I stamped a Clarity snowman stamp which I have had for quite some time in Onyx Black Versafine ink, then heat embossed with clear EP.
I created a mask from a post it note and laid the Mountains & Hills mask across the ATC, adding a tiny moon mask also.  Midnight Blue and Moon Crater Artistry inks were brushed across the sky.
Next, I replaced the hills mask and stamped the teeny weenie trees from the Stag Outline set in Smokey Grey Versafine ink along the horizon.
Further shadows were added in Moon crater below  and behind the snowman and the mask removed.
Finally, I stamped and heat embossed 'Winter' from the Treescapes and seasons stamp set to match the snowman (Onyx Black Versafine/ detail clear EP).
