First Christmas Card of 2021

For my very first Christmas card of 2021 (the earliest one I have ever made in a year), I used the last Clarity New Design Stencil club offering of 2020 (#79) together with the October club stamp (#168).

A Fantasy Art Journal Page: Still I Rise

I am determined this year to complete the challenges over on Mission Inspiration before the end of each month, so here is January's contribution.  The theme given was 'Fantasy – Imagining the Impossible or Improbable Things'.  Anyone experiencing 2020 might feel that it is improbable we will ever get over it, but I feel hope.

Four Seasons Concertina Tag Card

I was delighted when the last Clarity New Design Club stamp of 2020 (#170) dropped through the letterbox as it meant that I was finally able to finish a project which I started in 2018.

Paper Pieced Macaw Card

In line with my plan to use stamps, stencils and dies received from Clarity in 2020 through my membership of their monthly clubs,  I created this card featuring the Macaw which was April's offering from the stamp club.  I have renewed my membership for 2021 and look forward to receiving my first goodies.

WOYWW 606: Surviving

 Morning and welcome to my weekly contribution to Julia's long running blog link up WOYWW at Stamping Ground - if you pop over all will be explained.

As you can see, Tom and Peter are back keeping me company, although they have to make way if I want to take photos as that is where I perch my small light box.  I am also still keeping up with my daily drawings, even more important to me as a relaxing start to the day.

I've included the prompt list that I am working through as one or two of you were interested.

I have now completed one whole week of online teaching, including my full day on Monday.  Things are definitely getting easier, I now know how much work to expect a class to be able to cover online in a lesson and have adjusted accordingly.  Marking is less, as we are marking work together as we go through a lesson as we would in class.  I am teaching from a classroom in school this week and it looks like that will be continuing as the hubs are getting larger and we will have the pupils we would normally be teaching who are in school too.  Stay safe and happy WOYWW.

I decided to use Barbara Gray’s trap the scrap technique together with the Clarity New Design Die Club heart (#13) from last January to create two clean and simple Valentine’s cards.
