WOYWW 892 / 112: Four More Working Days

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks which is WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday?), the brainchild of Julia, who kindly entrusted it to me to continue after the first 15 years of togetherness.  Please feel free to link up your desk and visit others' - we are a friendly bunch.

My desk shows my affirmation cards and one of the new Clarity mugs I bought at the Open Days to go with the one gifted to me by Barbara.  The earliest I can share my latest samples is tomorrow and the only other project I completed recently was a wedding card for a colleague, so that can't be shared yet either.

It is my final Awards' Evening tonight!  The performance at York went really well last Thursday although I was totally pooped on Friday.  Recorders again on Saturday with another group and then u3a rehearsal on Tuesday - it will be a musical week.  I am also doing a handover with my successor on Monday so retirement (II) seems closer than ever.

Wishing Julia a belated happy birthday for yesterday.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

I love your ‘Every artist starts somewhere’ mug, if I’ve got it right, and your other affirmations. Enjoy your last couple of days at school, and your musical sessions.
Happy WOYWW

Given that you've already tried out retirement before, I'm sure you know exactly how you are going to enjoy all the wonderful free time you will soon have again. All that time to do as your affirmation card says and allow yourself to play! Great ATC cards again this week. My favourite is Reflection. Sounds like you have a great week planned anyway but have a good one. Elizabeth xx #9

Yay! the countdown has started. I knnow you are looking forward to it as you should! I can't believe I've been retired 5 years now! I used to wonder what I would do, would I be bored? But no...! Your ATCs are lovely as usual, my favorite one today is "The Human Form". I love your Affirmation cards in their holders, great reminders to have fun! Have a great week, Lindart #12 🌞

As always you put me to shame with your hectic and packed life :D Where do you find your energy? Not long until you retire and become even busier lol. Fab cards this week - love the moody trees!!! xx
