Parchment Thank You - White Work Practice

I made this as a thank you card for a pupil who kindly bought me some lovely pot pourri as a Christmas gift.  I decided to also use it as an opportunity to practice my parchment white work, so I took photos after every stage.  I think I'm getting better, but practice makes perfect!

Psychedelic Colours to Brighten up the Day

I made this card some time ago but as the weather isn't so great today I thought I'd try to brighten things up.

I started by covering a piece of white card (20x13.8cm) with small pieces of masking tape overlapping each piece randomly and burnishing them onto the card.  I then went over the whole piece with Salty Ocean distress ink.  I stamped the Indigoblu circle dot background stamp onto a separate piece of white card using Versamark ink and heat embossed using white detail embossing powder.
