I made this card some time ago but as the weather isn't so great today I thought I'd try to brighten things up.
I started by covering a piece of white card (20x13.8cm) with small pieces of masking tape overlapping each piece randomly and burnishing them onto the card. I then went over the whole piece with Salty Ocean distress ink. I stamped the Indigoblu circle dot background stamp onto a separate piece of white card using Versamark ink and heat embossed using white detail embossing powder.
I then used Spiced Marmelade, Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed distress inks to blend a bright background. Having cut this image into 3 equal sections I matted each of the panels onto black card leaving a narrow border between and around each section.
I used black Versafine ink and black detail embossing powder to heat emboss the stamped images onto heat resistant acetate (Inkadinkado - In the Groove) and added them over the bright background panel using small black brads. The whole thing was matted onto the masking tape backround and then onto an A5 landscape black card blank.
