WOYWW 398: Marking, marking and more marking

It's a good job I remembered to take photos of my workbench yesterday during my regular Tuesday craft session with a friend as there would otherwise be very little crafty to look at. As the name of the game is WOYWW (hosted over on the Stamping Ground if you want to know more),  I thought it only fair to show you what my workbench actually looks like this morning.   The only evidence of craft is the stuff left out in the background ready for my next class and my new mug, which I treated myself to just after Christmas; the words say it all!  Otherwise Wednesdays tend to be a lesson preparation and marking day.

Yesterday was far more productive.  As usual I have taken a picture of my side of the desk and my friend's side (far messier).  I was working on some Gelli print backgrounds and ended up liking a mop up sheet so much that I used that as the background for my final card  (See HERE for details). I was using my 6"x6" Gelli plate, the Napa Valley stamp and Framer stencil by Claritystamp and my Distress Markers.
My friend has finally finished the wedding invitations that she has been working on for a few weeks, so instead was trying out some inky techniques with the Jigsaw stamps and masks (again by Claritystamp).  As you can see from the picture, she enjoyed getting into an inky mess.  If she had let me know earlier what she was up to, she could have saved herself the job of cutting out a post it note mask, as I have the mask which goes with the stamps!  In the background you can just see my bright card made with some of the Groovin' 60s collection by Sheena Douglass (more details HERE and HERE).  I must stop procrastinating and get down to my work, so Happy WOYWW!
