WOYWW #383 New Stash

My friend's organised chaos!
This week's contribution to WOYWW is a bit of a set up as it is currently covered with boxes of exercise books for marking.  Tuesday is my main crafty day as that is when I have my friend for company.  I took a picture of her side of the workbench yesterday; she was joking that she always spreads out within half an hour of beginning to craft, whereas I completed a complete art journal page and my side remained very neat and organised.

As you can see from my staged picture, I have recently increased my crafty stash.  I can't resist a bargain (the Hero Arts background stamps were half price in a sale) and I collect the Tim Holtz layering stencils, so the latest Christmas collection was always on my shopping list.  The sea salt grinder came from Aldi, as I want to try out the salt over watercolour paint technique and the Seahorse layering stamp set by Hero Arts was bought to use in my new Misti.  Finally, the Crafter's Workshop stencil was bought in response to a technique used in an art journal layout by Vicky Papaioannou.

Also on my workbench are the items ready for class on Saturday to create the card you can see in the background (for details see here).
