Buff Titanium Gel Plate Lift Background With Doodles!

This piece was almost an afterthought when I made my samples for the Leonie's Frameless Shapes Stencil shows on Hochanda last Friday.  It started off as the result of lifting a print from my gel plate to clean off all the left over paint from the previous piece (see HERE).  I immediately saw flowers and used a pen to add doodles.
I had some paint left on my gel plate having made this background for a previous sample.
To clean off my gel plate,  I spread a thin layer of Buff Titanium paint over it.  Just before lifting the print onto a piece of 7" x 7" stencil card something inspired me to add the same stencil but halfway down the plate before lifting the print.  This was the result.
I loved the result: one clean gel plate and an amazing background.  I grabbed a purple gel pen and just started doodling until the flowers had fully emerged.  I also decided to go round the edges with the same pen to make the background pop.
I suppose I could have added a sentiment of some sort along the top, but I decided to let the piece speak for itself.
