When I get in from work this evening I will be excited to catch up with Leonie's shows on Hochanda today (8am and 4pm). She is showcasing her new Frameless Shapes stencils in collaboration with Claritystamp. They were such fun to play with, especially with a gel plate. This is the first of my samples.
To start with I brayered Indian Turquoise DecoArt paint onto 6” x 6” gel press plate and added one of the stencils (squares). It was then stamped onto a piece of 7" x 7" Clarity stencil card.

Having created a background for another card using Golden
Green Gold paint on the gel plate and the ovals stencil, I removed the stencil and once dry, added Bahamian Blue DecoArt paint. This was
immediately stamped over the first layer of background, pulling off the left over green gold paint.
Next, I placed the (now clean) oval stencil back over the top and used a dark green fine liner to outline the shapes, adding a drop shadow with the same pen.
This piece was then trimmed back to 15cm x 15cm.
To create the mat, I added stencilling to a second piece of 7” x 7” stencil card using the first (squares)
stencil and Tenacious Teal artistry ink.
The two pieces were then layered up.
To complete the piece, I added some of my brayer clean up sheet to an ATCoin blank (2.5” diameter) and trimmed the edges.
Library Green Archival ink was brushed through the Cornflower and Friends stencil, then the edge of the ATCoin was coloured in dark green ink.
This was then added to the background to finish the piece and the top panel also outlined in dark green ink.
With the addition of a sentiment, this piece could easily be turned into a card for many different occasions.
