Secret Santa Coasters

These were made as a Secret Santa gift for a colleague.  It didn't take him too long to work out who they were from as I used many of the same stamps which I had used to make a card for another colleague who was leaving.  I enjoyed making them.

The coasters come in a pack of four, but I only had two spare, so decided to work with those.  I cut two pieces of Sheena's Stamping Card 9cm x 9cm as these fit exactly into the coaster blank.  I used the flask stamps from the Chemistry Lab set by IndigoBlu and heat embossed using holographic embossing powder.  I then masked these off and over stamped the Periodic Table of Elements (also by IndigoBlu) minus the heading.  The gaps were filled in using the molecule stamp form the Chemistry Lab set. Distress Markers and a water brush were used to add colour to the flasks and Squeezed Lemonade was brushed around the edges using a Clarity Stencil brush.  On the reverse I stamped a blank handmade by stamp from Claritystamp, wrote in Secret Santa and then finished with multiple prints of the atom stamp from the same set using four colours of Archival ink to match the four house colours of our school.
The second coaster was made using a border from the Light and Sound Border set by IndigoBlu.  I stamped it three times on the front and once on the back of the card using the same four colours of Archival ink.  The Einstein quote was then over stamped and heat embossed to tie in with the other coaster.  I used a different handmade by stamp from Claritystamp on the back and signed it Secret Santa.
