One Background, Two Journal Tags

I am slowly catching up with the last of the alphabet prompts on Mission Inspiration to finish my alphabet tag journal.  The last five prompts were released all at once as there is a new format to the mini missions for 2019.  Having now created V for Victory and W for Wish, I have nearly completed my first tag journal.

I decided to use the same background across both tags as I was working on both of them on the same day.  I had a piece of deli paper that had been used to mop up some light blue ink off a blending mat.  It reminded me of sky/clouds which was perfect for both my ideas.  I started by adding the deli paper to each tag, sealing it with matte medium, drying and trimming.

The Union Jack stamp set from Clarity comes in three parts, the flag pole, the blue flag section and the red flag section.  I stamped the flagpole in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed it with clear EP.  Once cool I coloured  it using a Cool Grey Big Brush marker.
Next I added a skyline across the bottom using the Rooftops mask and Jet Black Archival ink.
The flag was stamped in Vermillion and Cobalt Blue Archival ink onto a piece of card and fussy cut.
It was then added to the pole, taking care to fly it the right way up.
I added the prompt word using the Clarity Word Chain Alphabet and drew in the cord for the flag.
To finish, I added the date of Victory in Europe day (8th May 1945) using a fine Pitt Artist pen.
I decided to keep the next tag simple.  I stamped the large Allium and heat embossed it in the same way as the flagpole.
I then added the small Allium head and the dandelion seed from the New Design Club stamp (#131) in the same manner.
It only remained to add the prompt word 'Wish' using the same Word Chain Alphabet and ink as before.
