Looking Forward to Crafting Along with Barbara

On February 17th there will be a two hour show on www.hochanda.com where you will be able to craft alongside Barbara Gray using these fabulous stamps.  I don't know what the project is that she will be making but I am looking forward to finding out.  This is the result of my first play with the Bird Heart Sprig 3 way overlay stamps.

I started by stamping the outline 4 times in Fine Wine Artistry ink onto a piece of Clarity 7" x 7" stencil card.

I wanted to play around with colour so added Apricot Nectar and Golden Turmeric (separately) to the stamp inner using a blending tool and added colour to the top left outline.

I repeated the same process bottom right using Morning Dew and Wild Bilberry Artistry inks.

To change things up, I added Cotton Candy and Fancy Fuchsia to the background stamp in the same way and stamped the top right outline.

This was repeated in the bottom left using Orange Popsicle, Blaze and Terracotta inks.

To finish I used the season stamps from the Treescape and Seasons stamp set in Orange Popsicle (Spring), Fine Wine (Summer), Dark Garnet (Autumn), and Wild Bilberry (Winter).

I really love the flexibility of the three way overlay stamps as they can be used alone or in combinations of two or all three to create different looks.
