Paint Splodge Mini Makes

For my last samples using the Mr Painter stamps from Clarity Crafts, I went with a pair of mini makes using all the paint splodge and sentiment stamps.

From My Home To Yours

I had a play with the roof stamps from the Build a House Clarity Street set and used the stamp off card to create a background for the sentiment.

Mr Painter Shaving Foam Background

I thought that a shaving foam background combined with using actual paint with the mask, would make a fun card using the Mr Painter stamps from Clarity Crafts.

I mixed both sets of Clarity Street stamp sets to make this new home card.

My desk shows my latest goodies from Clarity Crafts - the most recent collection from Timestamp Creations.  No time to play yet though, as I have more samples to make.  Talking of which, my last lot have been officially declared lost so I am awaiting a refund from Evri.

I followed a cool online tutorial for this one, but added my own colour.

I caught up with everyone at work last Friday as I had to drop off some bits and pieces.  It was good to see everyone but won't be going in again unless invited as I don't want to wear out my welcome.

I started with a horrible cold yesterday thanks to #3 son passing his on.  Still made it to u3a recorders though.  It was our last rehearsal before our concert on the 19th.

Exam Congratulations?

This time I had a play with some of the worker stamps which accompany the painters in the Mr Painter stamp set.  This could make an exam congratulations card.

These Clarity Street stamps make lovely New Home cards.  Here I created a pair of notelets.

A Rainbow of Painters

You can tell I was having fun playing with these new Mr Painter stamps and masks from Clarity Crafts - I forgot to take photos of some of the steps as I was so caught up in the process.

These Clarity Street stamps are so versatile.  Here I used the house blanks as building blocks and added all the windows in rainbow colours.

I realised that I had still not used my Clarity New Design Stencil Club offering from April so decided to make a card with it.

I have had a tangle of low tack tape that had been spritzed with Distress Oxides sitting on the side for quite a while after making the project HERE.   I finally decided to untangle them and use them as a background on a tag.

This month's ATC theme for the Clarity swap is Travel and the colour pink, so I had some potential stamps out ready to make.  I have also offered to make a card for a former colleague so I need to get that done before popping into school on Friday.  I must admit that I am missing my colleagues.

Thanks for all the retirement well wishes.  I celebrated my first official day of retirement on Monday with a lie in, visiting desks after a hectic weekend, and going over to Mum's for dinner with her, sister, BIL and the friend that I gave a lift to from Kent.

Wow - September already!

I am getting used to this retirement malarky, although I still wake up early on 'school' days even without an alarm.  I am also hoping that all the samples I made last week and posted on Saturday actually make it to Clarity as there hasn't been an update by Evri since 8am on Monday and they were due by yesterday.  As I paid for next day delivery I was expecting them to be delivered on Monday!

#dailyart2025 Two-Thirds Done

I have just started my sixth Petite watercolour journal from Clarity Crafts for my #dailyart2025 drawings as August ends.  It will be well into October before I have to start the next one. As usual I have been using prompts from the 365 days of drawing prompts and other art group on FB.

Never like seeing demi-semi quavers in a piece of music lol.

A Rainbow In Someone's Cloud

I had another play with a second print taken from the July Clarity Club stencil and used a die that I have been after for ages and found second hand on eBay.

Tina's Floral Sampler Star Book

I went all out with my last sample using these beautiful Floral Sampler stamps and created a star book in rainbow colours using 14 of the stamps.

A Tag to Say Hi!

I thought I would make a tag using the new Tina's Floral Sampler stamps and combine them with the original KISS stamp set.

I used another couple of backgrounds from the alcohol ink workshop that I did with Barbara Gray back in June together with a couple of the stamps from Tina's Floral Sampler set to create these notelets.

My desk shows some of the stamps I was playing with before I headed off to the Clarity retreat last week.  Barbara will be on HobbyMaker today at 1pm and 4pm showcasing them and you will see my samples over the next few days on my blog.  I  am busy working on more secret stuff so had to stage the desk.

This was my desk last Thursday at the start of the second day of the retreat - we were learning all about Acrylic paint and I learnt so much.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes.  I had a lovely weekend and family get together and also a great musical afternoon with the u3a recorder group yesterday.  Next Saturday I will be back in Lichfield for a play day with Helen Hooker (well known in the recorder community).  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.
