Mr Fix It

It's amazing what a difference one extra day at work makes.  So, sorry if you've been to visit and haven't found a new post recently!  I'm glad that I had time to create a card today.  I haven't done any proper colouring recently, nor made a stepper card.  I've also used some supplies for this card that I've been hoarding for ages and not used (the core'dinations card, stamps and embossing folder).  The dies are a mix of very old and relatively new but previously unused, so I thought this would be an ideal card to link to Carolyn Dube's 'Let's Play' page.

Wow! Two weeks in a row that I've managed to participate in with the WOYWW challenge over on Julia's Stamping Ground.  I haven't managed a massive amount of crafting since I last joined in; my husband decided to take three days off work over the holidays including today, I have to get back into work mode as I will be working an extra day over the next term (temporarily) and of course last Friday I spent the day with my friend at Hochanda (see HERE for the report)!  However my latest goodies from Clarity arrived this morning and I thought I'd also take the opportunity to share the whole of my crafting area - after all the blog is named after it!

A Fabulous Day at Hochanda!

I had the most amazing day yesterday at the Hochanda investors day with my good crafting friend Eva.  Although I didn't have a lot of money to invest, I really believe in the ideas behind this channel and got in early with the CrowdCube fund raising.  Yesterday, I finally had a chance to see how my (tiny) investment was being put to good use; a company which really has the interests of crafters at heart.

 As we had to be in Peterborough by 10am, it meant an early start (setting off at 7am).  However once we arrived, we were treated like royalty - starting with the amazing thrones in reception which are there for any suppliers which visit Hochanda.
