Daily Challenge: Back on Track

After my bout of Covid earlier this month, I am now back on track with my #dailychallenge2022 in my 6" x 6" kraft scrapbook.  I have been using some small scrapbook paper pads with some die cut toppers and pictures that I have found in my stash.   Each page is finished as always with one or more Clarity words stickers.

Studiolight combined with Paper Dolls.

Studiolight Mindfulness collection.

A book of die cuts from The Works.

Crafty Individuals Miniatures.

More Crafty Individuals with PaperMania papers.

As before but with added chipboard shapes.

Finally a couple of pages using items from the Studiolight Autumn collection.

#Dailychallenge 2022: I was Doing so Well...

I really must admit that I was doing so well with my #dailychallenge2022 and March started as I had left off: using lots of paper scraps, die cuts, word stickers and stamp left overs.  Then Covid struck.  I admit that I completed days 8-13 all in one session on 13th March which nearly wiped me out.

Having started a new scrapbook, the first page was a stand alone piece.

I turned day 3 into a tribute to the people of Ukraine.

I continued with a different colour scheme but still used hexagons.

The only reason there was a page on the day I tested positive is because I had set things up the day before ready to stick them down.
I then spent the next four days in bed and away from my craft room.  When I felt a little better, although still testing positive, I decided to continue with my tribute to Ukraine.
My fidrst negative test finally on the 14th so went back to my normal routine.

For my first day back at work, I used some items from a book of die cuts.
I hope I will stay on track for the rest of the year now.

WOYWW 665: Back To Work

Well that week disappeared quickly and Wednesday is back again.  Sharing my desk as always with Julia and the gang at WOYWW hosted at Stamping Ground.

As you can see, I have started my second daily journal with a new 6" x 6" kraft scrapbook from The Works.  I had a bit of a mixed week off.  Plenty of crafting but my car failed its MOT last Friday.  Luckily Monday was an INSET day at the Bet365 stadium which is walking distance from home and the work was done by the end of the day.  I also had some tests at the hospital in the afternoon so hubby picked me up and dropped me off.  Just waiting for results now (1-2 weeks), but the Doctor didn't seem too concerned.

Such terrible news coming out of Ukraine.  Praying that the Russian megalomaniac will be ousted soon as the sanctions start to bite and his inner circle are affected.  I am just sorry that the ordinary Russian people are caught up in his machinations and will suffer too.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.  I will be round to visit later or in the morning.

#DailyChallenge2022: Second Month Done

I have completed my second month of my self imposed daily challenge for 2022 and the first of my 6" x 6" kraft scrapbooks is now full.  The second one already has pages gessoed ready for March and April's pages.  The Clarity words stickers are still really useful.

I used similar backgrounds and die cuts for these two pages.

Two more ATCoins in a different colourway for these pages.

Some Tim Holtz ephemera for these, along with washi tape.

A couple of Clarity New Design Club dies were used on these pages.

A positive and negative of the same Clarity die cut with some TH Paper Dolls.

It so happened that I used colours on the flag of Ukraine for these pages - prayers for those innocent people.
I found some precoloured images that I had been sent in happy mail once for these pages.

So that's a sixth of the year covered and a new scrapbook to start tomorrow.  See you with another update in a couple of weeks.
