WOYWW 604: Goodbye 2020

 Welcome to my contribution to the last WOYWW of 2020, a year most of us will no doubt be glad to see the back of.  Here's hoping that 2021 will eventually bring a little more normality back to everyone's lives. 

My desk this week shows the start of my second sketchbook that I use for my daily drawings.  I have decided to keep this up into the new year and have now started following the #inktober2019 prompts that I didn't even start at the time.  I have swapped to the new prompts with the new sketchbook.  You can also see some of the crafty goodies that I spent my Amazon voucher on (thanks boys).  We spent a few hours on Christmas Day itself at the two elder boys' house. They both work from home, so it felt a safe enough thing to do.  Lunch was a joint effort and dessert, cheese and biscuits had to wait until early evening as we were all stuffed.  We were home again by 8.30pm.  Since then we have had two days of snow so glad to be staying in.

WOYWW 603: Happy Holidays

WOYWW 498: Will I Be Ready

With less than a week to go until Christmas I wonder if I will be ready in time.  I will keep this brief fellow deskers, as I know time is precious.

My side of the desk shows cards received from Shaz  (Silverwolf) and Doug and Christine (Bishopsmate) and Peter.  Thank you so much.  I am not posting any cards this year, instead I am donating the postage to charity.

The other side of the desk this week shows fellow JJAMMMA (Junk Journals and Mindful Mixed Media Art) members at the meet up yesterday. Jane (pictured above) brought cake!

Christmas Scene through a Window

I created a double layered tag using one of the Fresh Cut Window Aperture dies from Claritystamp.  I had previously used the Dove Window to create a Panorama Card (see HERE), but this time worked with the Candle Window.

Christmas Gift Tags from a Master Board

I decided to have a break from Christmas cards and instead create some gift tags (or perhaps mini Christmas cards).  I managed to create 12 toppers from one piece of  A4 card.

Christmas Card with Angel Wings

I was recently inspired by a beautiful DL card that I saw on Facebook designed by Lizzie Dzadiak using the Angel Wings stamp (and die) by Gemini from Crafter's Companion.  I decided to make my own angel wing DL card.

WOYWW 446: I'll Never Be Ready

Last WOYWW before Christmas and I have the feeling that I'll never be ready.  My desk is empty as all the projects that I'm working on at present are either swaps or gifts so I have nothing to show!  Yesterday was the last full craft day that I am allowing myself before Christmas, although I still have Hubby's birthday card (Christmas Eve) and my Mum's birthday card (27th) to finish as well as a couple of other projects to tie up.
