Welcome to the weekly craft room/desk sharing with WOYWW. Everything is back to normal for a school day today. Off out to school early with some marking done before I leave.
I have been getting more organised with my craft storage too with 12 extra storage caddies to go with the trolleys. I have been able to clear three tubs off my desk so the laptop can sit further back (nearly fully off the glass mat now). It has made my life a lot easier as I no longer have to reach over the screen for my tools, scissors and brushes. Nothing to show on the other side of the desk I'm afraid as Eva only popped over for a quick coffee so there was no crafting to show. I will be over to visit tomorrow morning. Happy WOYWW everyone. Please visit Julia's Stamping Ground to find out more or even join in with the link up yourselves.
Firstly, apologies for not visiting many desks last week, by the time we got back from our last minute short break last Friday I had a large number of samples to make ready for posting today. I also cannot comment on Wordpress blog posts - sorry.
My desk this week shows a lovely array of hand made birthday cards that I received at the weekend. The large one at the back was from Eva and is a beautiful craft themed Groovi card. Thank you to everyone who took the time and trouble to send a card and for all the lovely birthday wishes.

Eva made it over for our last play date of the holidays yesterday afternoon - as you can see she brought more home made chocolate chip cookies and her Groovi stuff.
Look who else I caught up with last week. Julia (keeper of desks and organiser of all things WOYWW related) kindly did some last minute gallivanting and met up with my hubby and me near to Salisbury where we had been for the day last Wednesday (most appropriate). We were glad to get out of the rain, although Stonehenge was particularly quiet when we visited earlier that day.
On Thursday we spent the day in Bristol, where the weather was the complete opposite of the previous day.
We headed for home on Friday, calling at IKEA where hubby bought me some additional storage for the shed as my birthday gift.
The extra DVD storage unit and trolley have made a big difference to the state of tidiness in the shed. All my loose stamp sets have now been arranged and labelled in the extra unit and the wall hanging unit which was difficult to get into has been removed and replaced with the extra trolley. I will be extra good visiting this week to make up for last!!! Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.
Joining in with the weekly sharing of desks thanks to Julia at The Stamping Ground and What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.
My desk shows my latest attempts at organising my stamps into blank DVD cases. I managed to get hold of some more from Maria Moorhouse at her workshop at the weekend and finally stashed away the new stamps that I bought in the Gray Day sale at Clarity. While I was at it, I added some sets I already had from my larger folders to fit in with the new stamp sets. Top left: Tina's Flowers, top right: love, locks and clocks and bottom: hobbies. I still have a way to go. The next step is to trim some copy paper to fit into the sleeves and add a label along the spine.
While I'm mentioning organising, thanks to Shaz's tip last week I ordered one of the trolleys from Hobbycraft. It is the perfect size for sitting under the desk and has cleared a lot of clutter from my desk space.
Sorry I am unlikely to visit this week. I will be at work today and need an early night as #2 son needs to be at Stanstead for 5am tomorrow. By the time I get back, I will be voting and getting back into bed for a nap, before school work which needs my attention.
