Eileen Hull Wrapped Journal Cover: Masculine Finish

Yesterday I shared how I created the wood effect for the inside of this Wrapped Journal Cover (see HERE).  Today,  I will show you how I added texture to embellishments for the outside of the cover, once again in keeping with the masculine theme.

Eileen Hull Wrapped Journal: Cool Wood Effect

I decided to make a more masculine journal cover using the Wrapped Journal Bigz die designed by Eileen Hull for Sizzix.  I have made one before (see HERE and HERE) but it was more feminine in appeal.  Today I am sharing the inside on which I built up a cool wood effect.

Eileen Hull Wrapped Journal: Part 2

Having shared how I decorated the inside of my wrapped journal cover yesterday (see HERE), today I will be sharing the outside.  I have not made any signatures for my journal yet; that will be a job for the school holidays.

Eileen Hull Wrapped Journal: Part 1

The Eileen Hull Wrapped Journal Bigz die that I had pre ordered arrived this week and I couldn't resist making one straight away.  I don't have extender plates with my ebosser, but managed to use the die anyway.  By the time you read this I will be getting ready to go to Berlin with a school trip, so I am preparing items for my blog in advance.  This post shows how I decorated the inside of the journal and tomorrow I will share what I did with the outside.
